Hi All!! Hope you are staying safe and sane in these uncertain times. I’ve decided to do a few “mini-blogs” (well sort of mini…lol) based on a single look or style in the next couple of weeks to hopefully give you some ideas for when this is all over and you can go out and enjoy life again. I want you to have fun, stylish and of course inexpensive outfits to wear when you get back out there! I know that clothes and style are not going to change the world or even our current situation but it can give you something to do now and something to look forward to for later. It’s a win-win!

My first mini-blog is all about wearing Suits with Sneakers. I recently wore a really cute pink suit with high-waisted wide leg pants to my nieces baby shower a few weeks ago and really felt great in it. Although it’s not my usual go-to style I have always loved the “suit with sneaks” look but never did it until now. A great suit with a crisp white graphic tee and springy white sneakers is pretty perfect in my book! (Have always been obsessed with fresh white sneakers in the spring so now just another outfit to wear them with..yeah!!). And honestly I am all about comfort and what is more comfy than wearing sneakers!?!

THE SNEAKERS
So now to the sneakers…the PINK pants run long (for reference I am 5’7.5) and I didn’t want to have to alter them so I got a platform sneaker. These sneakers I already own in the leopard but wanted a white version for this look and luckily they had it. These are truly THE most comfortable sneaks I have ever worn…and extremely lightweight too!
The second Adidas pair are a little more sporty but go with everything and are my go to pair since last year.

This is a look I am 100% behind! I think it has such a subtle elegance to it, I love the slightly masculine look of a suit set, but with the femininity of a bold colour, and the casual note of the sneakers. Definitely a winner in my books!
