Bags, bags, bags… I really do love them and as I was admiring my latest find I realized that I haven’t done an accessories or handbag blog yet.  So I think this may be the perfect time of year to do it.  It’s those dreary, winter days when your clothes or an outfit just don’t feel or FIT right…you know the days when just about every outfit you try ends up on the “NO WAY, NOT TODAY” pile.  In those moments at least I know I can always count on a stylish purse to brighten my outfit and my mood!  So if I’m dressing more “plain” that day I can, at least, carry an interesting bag in its shape, its color, or its texture to elevate my outfit.  I actually get more comments on my handbags than any other item that I wear.

Now of course some people like to have that designer label on a bag but for me that’s not the case…if a bag is functional, stylish and unique…then I’m hooked!  I refuse to pay a lot of money for a handbag because I like to switch up my bag a lot.  I need different shapes,colors, sizes and textures…therefore in this case…at least for me…quantity works better than quality.   And it’s not that the quality is poor they really are all lovely, usable, sturdy, fashionable, interesting bags.

I was originally intrigued by this interesting Bao Bao geometric tote that I had come across in a magazine and then online—but it cost $595 then I found it for $425 …obviously neither of those were going to work for me.  So my quest began!

And quite a successful quest it was …I found a very similar bag on Amazon for only $17.71!!  Not only is it a really interesting looking bag it is so practical as it is a tote and fits just about everything.  Perfect!

So this geometric bag is my highlight and comparison bargain quest…and the red patent tote was a bonus find (so shiny, bright and pretty)….the rest is a list of interesting shapes, textures, colors that I have found and just love.

The geometric bag savings were honestly unbelievable– $595 orginally I found a similar bag for $17.71 at Walmart.com= total savings of $577.29!  (Note: the color says “white” but is actually more of an winter white/ivory)

The red patent tote was a great deal as well- $150 originally and $14.99 at Walmart.com= total savings of $135.01!
